We started a series of webinars on interesting and useful topics of Yoga. We began by offering for aspirants from USA and Canada in November2024. These webinars have been both informative and engaging, covering a wide range of topics that cater to various levels of experience, from beginners to advanced practitioners. We have participants from all parts of the world and hence we have opened up the webinars to participants from all over the world.
Attendees can expect to learn about the principles of Satyananda Yoga, techniques for meditation, and the importance of maintaining physical and mental well-being. Additionally, the webinars will provide an interactive platform for participants to ask questions and clarify doubts and develop a deeper understanding about themselves and promote health and vitality. In the forthcoming months, Satyananda Yoga Centre, Chennai, will offer a series of webinars for Global aspirants.

Webinar -1, Introduction to “Ha-Tha” Yoga was conducted on November 17th 2024.
Hatha Yoga is a vast classical tradition of Yoga, encompassing a complete and deep understanding of the underlying personality based on the vision of Hatha Yoga. This understanding can give a great advantage to one, allowing individuals to strengthen the inner workings, purify the inner dimensions, and ultimately live a life of better health, vitality, and empowerment.
The practices of Ha-Tha Yoga provide a systematic methodology to heal, revive, strengthen, purify the physical and vital body. Only one of the disciplines of Ha-Tha Yoga, namely “Asanas” has become popular so far. Also there is a lack of understanding even about the range and variety of practices that have been formulated by the Rishis for the welfare of all.
In this first webinar, we will help participants, get properly introduced to the system of Hatha Yoga. The philosophical framework will be looked at. The systematic approach to practices structured in Hatha Yoga will be explored. Participants will get a perspective of the way to progress and know the milestones of progress. The practical and useful benefits of following Hatha Yoga will also be discussed.
