Antar Mouna is an advanced practice of pratyahara which can be successfully experienced if one prepares oneself through regular and long term practice of Asana and Pranayama, by strengthening and stabilizing the physical and vital dimensions. Through the practices of Yoga Nidra, when the sharp and piercing edges of the mind are softened, when the burdens are allowed to dissolve and let go, then one becomes ready to learn the practice of Antar Mouna.

Sri Swami Satyananda has codified the practice of Antar Mouna in six stages. Gradually and regularly when these stages of practice are approached, one is able to observe and transform the mind. With a transformed mind, wherever you may be ,whatever you may do, you will find peace within. Independent of external factors.

You may be surrounded by favorable or unfavorable situations, you will be able to function from a sense of freedom independent of the external influences.
